Multiple Wedding Themes Are Gaining Popularity This Year

Are you having a difficult time deciding on your wedding theme? Can't decide on just one theme? Then incorporate two or three different wedding themes. Many brides are opting to add different elements from different themes to create something completely new and unique.

Think of it as A Wedding Fusion Theme!

By combining, you don't even have to make it complicated or more expensive. It's very simple to take themes within Unique Theme Weddings and incorporate different elements and have a several different wedding themes happening.

For example:

To show you how you can combine different themes together, we have a created a sample idea from using The Passage to Passion (India) wedding, The Fluttering Fantasy (Butterflies) wedding and The Seashore Shindig (Beach) wedding from Unique Theme Weddings .

If you like the bold colors (1) from the India wedding try finding fabric that incorporates these colors with butterflies (2) on it.

You could use this fabric for many things throughout your wedding depending on your preference. For example, the tablecloths, napkins or even your bridesmaid dresses (you could do the top in the fabric and then select a complementing color for the bottom or vice versa - if the fabric is too much for a full dress).

Or make cushions out of the fabric or use them as dressings for chairs (3) and add a picnic umbrella in a complementing color (4) to the table.

For your centrepieces, get silver bucket tins or sand pails (5, 6) and place flowers in them along with butterfly picks (7).

Also scatter sand around the tables and etch the words “love”, “forever” in it (8).

If you are having flower girls at your wedding, consider finding some wings to place on the back of their dresses so they can float down the aisle before you! And have the groomsman wear starfish boutonnieres instead of the traditional flowers and add a butterfly to the starfish.

You see, it is very easy to incorporate ideas together! Try it and we promise you that your wedding will be an event people are talking about for years to come!

Slash Your Wedding Flower Bill In Half

The intriguing beauty and intoxicating smell of flowers seem to symbolize love. Most weddings are not complete without their glory. Even if you decide to forgo floral arrangements at the reception, typically you will require the following:

-Bridal and Attendant Bouquet’s

-Corsages for mothers, grandmothers and other special guests

-Flower Girls Basket

-Groom and User’s Boutonniere’s-Boutonniere’s for fathers, grandfathers and other special guests

When making an appointment with a florist, make sure you already have decided on your dress and attendant’s. You will want to bring swatches and pictures of the dress as any reputable florist will be able to help you select the floral accent for your outfits.

Here are a few other floral suggestions:

-Select flowers that are in season and locally grown. They will be less expensive than flying in flowers.

-Check for local wholesalers of flowers in your area

-Consider using fake flowers for your bouquet - they are significantly cheaper than real ones

-Forgo the big bouquets, consider carrying one stunning flower tied with a ribbon

Or perhaps you are talented enough and don't need a florist!

You could easily slash your wedding flower bill in half by creating your own wedding flowers and you’ll also have a lot of fun doing it.

Create Your Own Wedding Flowers will show you exactly how to produce fantastic wedding flower arrangements but at a fraction of the price a florist would charge.

It is a practical guide written by a professional wedding florist that will have you creating wonderful flower arrangements for your big day… even if you don’t know a daisy from a daffodil.

Fun Artwork For Your Wedding

Here's a fun & unique way to celebrate your upcoming wedding! This company is just fabulous.

They create custom designed caricatures to look like you. And they can put you in any situation or outfit you like. I can highly recommend their services as I have personally dealt with them for my husband's business. We have dressed him up as a Cowboy, Santa, Dracula...plus we have used them for his clients.

But - when I was just their submitting some more work - I noticed DimpleArt's wedding section & had to share as I think it's so much fun.

There are tons of different ways you could use this for your wedding:

Gifts for your bridesmaids and groomsmen. Have a group shot of all of you? Get the caricature done and then select one of their 40 different products to put it on such as BBQ aprons, Mugs, Shirts etc. Or do a separate one of everyone. It's one gift that won't be stashed away in the closet.

Your wedding invitations! I guess I just get bored of the "typical" wedding invitations (hence Unique Theme Weddings) so if I got one of these - I would instantly frame the invitation of the couple.

Speaking of framing...this would be a great keepsake on your wall. Have your engagement shot caricaturized or have DimpleArt create your wedding day photo and then blow it up and have all your guests sign it at the wedding instead of a guestbook. What a great way to remember all those who shared in your special day.

Plus - the price is right - this isn't going to break your bank account or budget!
Check them out....at http://www.dimpleart.com/!

A $10,000 Martini and A Wedding Proposal

Talk about a proposal....and one enormous bar tab! At the Algonquin Hotel in Manhattan, their signature drink, Martini-On-The-Rock , was once prepared for a marriage proposal. The cost for the Martini - $10,000! The drink requires ordering 72 hours in advance because you have to first chose the diamond and ring settings you'd like to rest at the bottom of your martini glass.

Or - perhaps someone will purchase a $25,000 Sundae to propose! This golden sundae is a blend of 28 cocoas, including 14 of the most expensive in the world.

But wait – it’s also infused with 5 grams of edible 23-karat gold and served in a glass goblet lined with a layer of edible gold.

At the base of the goblet is an 18-karat gold bracelet with 1 carat of white diamonds. The sundae is also topped with whipped cream covered with more gold and a side of La Madeline au Truffle from Knipschildt Chocolatier, which sells for $2,600 a pound. It is eaten with a gold spoon decorated with white and chocolate-colored diamonds, which can also be taken home.

Talk about having your sundae, eating it and getting another bonus of diamonds! That would be a good day.

The trend of diamonds in food is getting quite popular though. You can also purchase a $1.6 million dollar Fruitcake which is diamond encrusted.

All these might just be out of your price range for your wedding menu...but you can still use the trend in your wedding!

Diamond themed weddings capture the gem's elements of everlasting love!

Plus it also gives you the ability to stick to a monochromatic color scheme of pure whites to ivories.

String small white lights throughout the venue (decorate them around doorways, over tables and on archways). Stock up on them during the after-Christmas sales to save yourself some money or light up the room with arranging white and ivory pillar candles throughout the area.

For centerpieces, if you are going with traditional blooms make sure you get them in whites and ivories.

Decorate your cake with a Swarovski Crystal Monogram Cake Topper! This topper will add some great glitter to your cake. You can also keep it long after your wedding day. Actually, you can find tons of items that are swarovski-studded (such as pins and picks to add to your flower arrangements).

Of course, for favors - you can find many diamond-ring related items (such as diamond ring keychains)

Now, if all white isn't really your thing but the diamond idea is grabbing you. No worries. Add in touches of gold and silver to add some more pizzazz!

For a venue, of course, any typical place would work but a great idea would be at a baseball diamond. (This would work great also if your future husband is a baseball fan). Get married at center plate....lots of fun to be had with this idea.
